THE BENEFITS OF REAL WEB ACADEMY
Any time you get a new piece of technology, from a car to a mobile phone, there is always a learning curve. Often, we don’t use all the features of a device or application, at least not from the start. We learn of features by reading the manual or simply by using it and trying different things. This is because most technology vendors don’t offer comprehensive training that you can attend or a live forum in which you can learn and ask questions.
Real Web Solutions offers online and in-class training on how to use our products to all of our Real Web Agent and Real Web Brokerage clients, at no cost. The in-class sessions are about 2 hours long and held on Monday afternoons at our office in Downtown Toronto, and the online webinars are about an hour long and held several times a week, usually twice a day, but schedule times can vary so please visit www.RealWebAcademy.com for the up-to-date training schedule. All sessions have a question and answer period at the end, and you have the option of taking the same course as many times as necessary, and we encourage it.
If you have one or more Admin assistants who will be managing your website or other aspect of your account, they are welcome to attend the online training courses as well. Simply send an e-mail prior to registration with their contact information to training@realwebsolutions.com. Please remember to include your information so that we know for whom they are working. Your assistants can attend the in-class seminars as well, but make sure to let us know during your registration as spots are limited.
Currently, there are five training modules available.
Intro to Real Web Agent
This course is great for those who have recently activated an account and need a starting point, as it touches upon a bit of every aspect of the product. It covers topics such as managing your contacts, creating and applying action plans, marking a listing as sold on your website, SMS Keywords, our support team, and more.
Contact Management & Mass E-mail
This course centers on the basics of e-mail marketing and contact management. It covers how to add and edit contacts, transfer contacts from existing databases, send mass e-mails such as newsletters and e-cards, create reusable email templates, and more.
Blogging, Residential Directory & Print Marketing
This course provides an in-depth look at using the residential directory, printing flyers, and taking advantage of the blogging tools available to you. Blogging is a fantastic and easy way to regularly maintain and update your website with current, unique content, which search engines reward.
Website Editing & Search Engine Optimization
This is a course that I would strongly recommend taking at least once to grasp the basics of editing your website, optimizing it for search engines, and of course improving your online presence! Getting a website up and running is easy, but it is also easy to neglect it thereafter. To maximize its effectiveness, your website needs to be updated on a regular basis with useful and unique content that could be indexed by search engines when someone searches related keywords. This session enables you to explore your options with different types of content that can be added, and provides insight into what helps you rank higher in search engines.
Residential Directory & Do Not Call List
This session runs for 30 minutes, and focuses primarily on the residential directory and how to use it in accordance with the Do Not Call List (DNCL). It touches upon the basics such as conducting searches, printing your results, creating mailing labels, and identifying who is or is not on the DNCL. This course is also available to our Real Web Directory Full and Premium services.

Please remember to register for training at least 12 hours prior to the start of the training session to allow the trainer to accept the request. Registration for both in-class and online training closes at 8am the day of the training.
